Pam and I spent the day together at her house. We were lucky enough to see the brand new butterfly immediately after she emerged from the cocoon. Once she opened her wings and started to move around a lot in the bowl, Pam took her outside to release her from the screen. I had never seen that happen before so it was a real treat!
