These geese in our backyard are pretty but boy, do they leave a mess. They poop a lot.

Your photos are great.
Here's a tip for composing your pics--think of the "rule of thirds": imagine tic-tac-toe lines drawn across your photo and place your subject and important background items (like the horizon) along the lines of the tic-tac-toe...get it? It makes your photos more interesting if your subject is off center rather than always in the middle.
