About 17 years ago, I brought wee little cacti home from Tucson. They were about 2 inches tall. Today they are about 18 inches tall and Larry has them living in the BATHroom, for heaven's sake.

Larry and I were visiting Linda and Maya tonight. Linda and I got to talk while Larry and Maya watched TV, played hide and seek, rough-housed and generally made exceedingly great noise. Larry was exhausted when we left! Those two just love each other.

Christmas Eve, Bob and Barb Ford came over. We exchanged little gifts. I opened this sweet silver cat with crystal eyes! Bob proudly said, "I picked it out a long time ago. I saw it and told Barbara it was just perfect for Mary Ann!" Barbara smiled and agreed that Bob had been the one to find it. It is a ring holder! You slip the ring on its tail. I am so happy to have it. This kitty now sits on the window sill over the sink and reminds us of Bob. We miss him so awfully much.

Larry presented me with this absolutely gorgeous anniversary ring today! Our 25th temple sealing anniversary is coming up in a few weeks and he says that it's more important than our wedding anniversary. That Larry. No wonder I love the man.

Remember my messy spare room from a few days back? Well yesterday Larry and I moved furniture so I could have a little cubbyhole of my own and voila! No more messy spare room! The bookcase is now in the family room and I have the rocking chair up here now. That rocking chair is as old as me. I used to turn it upside down as a kid and throw a blanket over it so I could "hide." It was very cool to play dolls under there.
